Ermal Ferguson Lam
(April 8, `931 - June 13, 2015)

Ermal Ferguson Lam, 84, of Huntington, WV, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2015, in Huntington Health and Rehabilitation. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 17, 2015, at Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Ken Toler officiating. Burial will be in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington. Ermal was born April 8, 1931 in Wayne, WV a daughter of the late Golden and Lucy Stevens Ferguson. Her husband, Freddie “Fred” Lee Lam; a son, David B. Lam; two grandchildren, Nikki Federer and Lindsie Federer; a sister, Dova Chapman Steele; and two brothers, Gobel Ferguson and Irvin Ferguson, also preceded her in death. She was a retired clerk for the City of Huntington; was a member of the Huntington Police Department Reserve Unit; and was a member of Trinity Church of God. Survivors include: two daughters and a son-in-law, Brenda Lam Carel and Chris Carel of Huntington and Sherrie Lee Lam Fererer of Barboursville; a son and daughter-in-law, Ken and Debi Lam of Huntington; four grandchildren, Angie, Allison, Amy (Rick), and Aron (Janessa); great grandchildren, Loran, Whitney, Steven, Breanna, Richard, Sean, Liam, and Airick; and great great grandchildren, Jaxson, Caleb and Jeremiah. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday at Chapman’s Mortuary.
