Richard Alvin Phillips
(August 2, 1953 - June 12, 2015)

Richard A. Phillips, 61, of Proctorville, OH, husband of Trina Neal Phillips, passed away Friday, June 12, 2015, in St. Mary’s Medical Center. A memorial service will be conducted 7:00 pm Friday June 19, 2015 at the 20th Street Baptist Church, Kenova, (20th Street and Route 60). He was born August 2, 1953, in Gallipolis, OH, a son of the late Andrew R. and Mabel Mae Hoover Phillips. A brother, Bob Phillips, and an infant sister, Eloise Phillips also preceded him in death. He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal friend and savior. He was a self -employed in automobile towing and repair. Survivors in addition to his wife include, one son, Andrew Richard Phillips at home; 3 sisters, Nancy Mooney of Crown City, OH, Jeanett Pauley of Lehigh Acres, FL, and Jean Lemley of Elizabethtown, KY; 2 brothers, Ronnie Phillips of Chesapeake, OH, and Randy Phillips of Crown City, OH; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Friends may visit with family one hour prior to services Friday at the church.
