Richard Hardwick Osburn, Jr.
(September 29, 1945 - June 22, 2015)

Richard Hardwick Osburn, Jr., 69, of Lavalette, WV, passed away Monday, June 22, 2015, in River’s Bend Health Care, South Point, OH. He was born September 29, 1945 in East Orange, NJ a son of the late Minnie Lucille Parsons Saddler and Richard Hardwick Osburn, Sr and Clara Osburn. Two brothers, James Victor Motz and Joseph Gerald Osburn, also preceded him in death. He was a vocational rehabilitation counselor for Clinical Case Management and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Survivors include: two sisters, Janet Lucille Hager and Judith Irene Neace, both of Lavalette, WV; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 am Thursday, June 25, 2015, at Mays Cemetery, Lavalette. Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington, is assisting the family.
