William E. Aylor


William E. "Bill" Aylor, 90, of Huntington, WV, died Wednesday January 22, 2020 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Sunday January 26, 2020 at Woodmere Memorial Park's Abbey of Remembrance with Minister Paul Hesson officiating. Bill was born January 11, 1930 in Huntington, WV a son of the late Wilbur and Marie Morris Aylor. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in Korea and was retired from the former INCO Alloys. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Louise "Bobbie" Aylor, one brother, Jack Aylor and a grandson, Eric C. Petry. Survivors include one daughter, Tina R. (David) Petry of Kenova, WV, two sons, Roger E. (Jean) Aylor of Enterprise, FL and Robert L. (Kim) Aylor of Milton, WV, 9 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandson. The family would like to thank the staff at Grayson Assisted Living for all their loving care given to Bill. Military graveside rites will be conducted by American Legion Post 93 of Kenova. Visitation will be from 1:30 until 2:00 PM at the cemetery on Sunday. Chapman's Mortuary Huntington is assisting the family.
