Miranda Lee Short, 38, of Huntington, died Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. She was born December 17, 1981 in Huntington a daughter of Beatrice Lee Brumfield Chaffin of Huntington and the late Timothy Chaffin. Miranda loved to listen to her music as her favorite pastime. In addition to her mother, survivors include a sister, Amy Elizabeth Chaffin of Huntington; and two brothers, William "Bill" Chaffin and Derek Ryan Chaffin, both of Huntington. A memorial service is being planned at a later date.
