William Edward Slone, 18, of Huntington, WV, died Sunday January 26, 2020 at his residence. William was born July 20, 2001 in Summersville, WV, a son of Billy and Leslie Bleigh Slone of Huntington. He worked at Quality Meats. He was preceded in death by his Paternal grandmother, Vickie Donahue Slone. Additional survivors include one brother, Caleb Slone of Huntington, one sister, Alexia Slone of Charleston, WV, Maternal grandparents, Wendy Bleigh and Franklin Bleigh both of Craigsville, WV, Paternal grandfather, William "Bill" (Cindy) Slone of Huntington, three aunts, Lisa (David) Schmidt of Charleston, Tabitha Slone Gillespie of St. Albans, Misty Slone of Cowen, WV, four cousins, Zachary Landers of Charleston, Tristen and Reese Gillespie of St. Albans, Malana Bragg of Summersville, WV and a great uncle Rick Donahue. Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 pm Sunday, February 2, 2020 at Chapman's Mortuary. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 to 6:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
