Sunny Rae Adams Gavitt, 84, of Kenova, widow of William H. Adams and Robert Gavitt, passed away January 6, 2020 in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. She was born October 19, in Rowelsburg, WV, a daughter of the late Floyd and Mildred Bucklew. Two sisters, Roslea Bolyard and Barbara "Jean" Phillips; and two brothers, Edison and Ralph Bucklew also preceded her in death. Sunny was a homemaker and worked for many years at the Tunnelton Drug Store. She is survived by her children, Karen Auel, Bill (Debbie) Adams and Chuck (Melinda) Adams; sisters, Dorothea Hoffman, Ellen Ridenour and Mary Muhlenbruch; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Sunny will be dearly missed by all who knew her. The family would like to thank the staff of Grayson Assisted Care, and the Emogene Dolin Jones House for their warm and loving care.
