Billy Lee DeVore
(October 2, 1971 - July 23, 2022)


Billy Lee DeVore


Billy Lee DeVore, 50, of Huntington, died Saturday, July 23, 2022 at St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born October 2, 1971 in Huntington, WV, a son of the late William Edward DeVore and Sharon Eileen Stapleton Taylor. His step-father, who raised him, Billy Taylor also preceded him in death as well as his brother-in-law, Rickey Esque, Jr. He worked formerly for Woodmere Memorial Park and worked as a laborer in construction. Billy had attended Apostolic Life Cathedral. Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Sunshine Taylor of Huntington; nieces and nephews, Makenzie Taylor, Brady Taylor, Austin Taylor, and Colton Esque. Additional family surviving are Jesse and Ricky Esque and Dixie and Scott Crabtree. Per his request he will be cremated and no services are planned at this time. Chapman's Mortuary is assisting the family.
