Ada Florene McFann

Ada Florene McFann


Ada Florene McFann, 85, of South Point, OH, died Saturday July 23, 2022 at Community Hospice of Ashland. Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 PM Tuesday July 26, 2022 at Chapman's Mortuary Huntington with Pastor Hunter Wood officiating. Burial will be in McKee McFann Cemetery, Wayne County, WV. Ada was born June 14, 1937 in Wayne County, WV a daughter of the late Robert and Carrie Davis Ross. She was a retired C.N.A. and Baptist by faith. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert V. "Cobb" McFann, Sr, six sisters, Doris Gooderham, Ann Reynolds, Gerry Huff, Juanita Tingle, Della Jones and Carol Buckman. Survivors include three daughters, Kathy Gecsey of Salt Rock, WV, Joy McFann and Jackie (Mike) Sanders all of Mount Washington, KY, three sons, Edward Lee McFann of Huntington, Rob and Walter McFann both of Lavalette, several loving grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, two brothers, Robert (Pat) Ross of South Point, OH and Lowell Ross of Beaver, WV. The family would like a special thank you to go to her niece, Paulette Jones and Community Hospice for all their loving care. Visitation will be after noon on Tuesday at the funeral home.
