Helen Victoria Frasher Bash
(September 4, 1927 - May 13, 2013)



Helen Victoria Frasher Bash, 85 of Huntington, West Virginia, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, May 13, 2013. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2013 at Westmoreland Baptist Church by Pastor C.J. Adkins. Burial will follow in Crescent Hill Cemetery, Ceredo, WV. Helen was born September 4, 1927 in Wayne County, WV a daughter of the late Garland and Letha Morrison Frasher. She was a former floral designer for Coffman’s Flowers and a member of Westmoreland Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Gorman Bash; one step-son Charles “Rusty” Bash, one step-daughter Thelma “Jeanie” Short, step-son-in-law Jim Short one brother Robert Frasher , sister-in-law Gertrude Frasher, one sister Eula Whittaker and one great-grandchild. Survivors include three sons Denver (Jeannie) Bash; Dale Bash all of Huntington, Keith (Linda) Bash of Chesapeake, Ohio; one step-daughter –in-law Thelma Jean Bash of Kenova. In addition, fourteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren, three brothers, Donald Frasher of Dayton, Oh; John (Virginia) Frasher of Winchester, Ky., Garland Jr. (Beth Ann) Frasher, of Merritt Island, Fl ; one brother –in-law Bruce Whittaker of Gainesville, Fl. and one sister, Thursy (Cebern) Baker of Branchland, WV and one sister-in-law Wanda Frasher of Orlando, Fl. A host of nieces and nephews and special friends, Debbie Bash, Connie and Andy Scheneberg, Delores Beller and Donna Hammond all survive her as well. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Reger Funeral Home. Mrs. Bash will be taken to the church one hour before severices.
