Obituary
Thomas Eugene Spence Sr.,
78, of Huntington, W. Va., passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at the Emogene
Dolin Jones Hospice House. Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 pm
Friday at Docks Creek Cemetery, Kenova, WV by Rev. Charlie Norris. Burial
will follow. He was born September 27, 1934 in Logan County, W. Va. a son of
the late Lucian and Nellie Harmon Spence. He was a machine operator with
National Steel Products and Nulls Machine Shop. He was a member of the
United Freewill Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of sixty years
Peggy Lou Spence, two sons and daughters-in-law Thomas E. Spence, Jr. and
his wife Dreama, Timothy and Debra Spence, two daughters and a son-in-law
Sandra and Andy Estep and Teresa Caldwell, seven grandchildren, sixteen
great grandchildren, a great great grandson, a brother and sister in law:
James and Debbie Spence, a sister and brother in law: Stella Mae and Richard
Pelfrey and several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation or
procession to the cemetery. Reger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
