Bayless Eugene Chinn
(September 9, 1935 - May 7, 2013)



BAYLESS E. CHINN, 77, of Kenova, W.Va., loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at his home. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, May 10, 2013, at 2 p.m. at the Prince of Peace Freewill Baptist Church by Pastor Phillip Warren. Burial will follow at Woodmere Memorial Park. Bayless was a retired stationary engineer at Owens-Illinois with over 34 years of service, and a veteran of the WV Army National Guard. Bayless was born on September 9, 1935, in Cabell County, W.Va., the son of the late Bayless and Elsie Amanda Wilson Chinn. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Nevorah Linderman. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Glenna Robertson Chinn; two daughters and sons- in-law, Jennifer and Bob Lovins of Kenova, W.Va., and Deborah and Carlos Ball of Huntington; and one son, Stephen Chinn of Kenova, W.Va.; four grandchildren, Emily and Matthew Lovins and Kelly and Chad Ball; seven great-grandchildren, Austin, Alexa, Alijah and Lyla Ball, Kaylin, Cameron and Corbin Lovins; a host of friends and family. Friends may call from noon until service time on Friday at the church. Contributions may be made to Hospice of Huntington. Reger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
