Obituary
Steven Fredrick Stearns,
57, of Ormond Beach, Fla., formerly of Huntington, WV, passed away Wednesday
May 15, 2013 at the Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center, Ormond Beach,
Fla. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am Monday at the Reger Funeral
Chapel by Rev. George Hale. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial
Gardens, Barboursville, WV. He was born July 26, 1955 in Huntington, WV the
son of the late Elmer and Willie Opal Day Stearns. He was a retired employee
of Service Pest Control. Steven was a Veteran of the US Marine Corps. In
addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Sandra
Stearns Staley. Survivors include his wife of 22 years Diana Crabtree
Stearns; daughter Ashley Stearns of Ormond Beach, Fla.; four grandchildren
including Alexis Napier who he and Diana are raising, Julien Kirkwood,
Jeremiah Kirkwood and Amaya Stearns all of South Daytona, Fla., four
siblings and spouses Michael and Donetta Stearns, Connie and Jimmy Spitler,
Darrell and Diana Day and Eugenia and Greg Ferguson all of Huntington and
several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 10 am until service time
on Monday at the Reger Funeral Home.
