    JEWELDINE
ORPHA JOHNSON, 90, of Milton, W.Va., sang in her heart for the last time,
"Precious Lord Take My Hand." She
is now united with her Lord and Savior, and her loved ones. She has left
this world of sufferings. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie
and Myra Brown Bledsoe, her loving husband, Nando "Jr." Johnson, a very
special daughter, Regena Johnson Napier, and a great-grandson, Dalton Bills.
She also was preceded by all seven siblings, Sherrell Bledsoe, Darrell
Bledsoe, Leon Bledsoe, Melvin Bledsoe, Gladys Ray, Faye McComas and Mildred
Wetherholt. She is survived by her daughters, Darlene Finley (Eugene) of
Milton, Irma Lovejoy (Tom) of Salt Rock, Tamra Browning (Paul) and Adina
Caldwell (Jim), both of Hamlin; nine grandchildren, Laundell Finley (Amy),
    Latisha

    Smith
(Brad), Lawanna Adkins (Todd), Tessa Cooper (Jeff), Lee Ann Bills (Noah),
Keith Browning (Kelly), Justin Browning, Alexis Jones (Trey) and Chelsea
Caldwell (Richard); 10 great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Gavin, Bralyn, Laci,
Baylee, Jayden, Rebecca, Chloe, Ethan, Josie, and one unborn great-grandson,
Case. She was stricken with a horrific bout of shingles during her last
months here. This debilitated her body to the point of death. Her one wish
was to tell everyone she knew to get the shingles vaccination to maybe
prevent the pain and suffering she endured. Through it all, her faith never
wavered. She would tell everyone that God must have just chosen her to have
the pain. Jewel was known for her kindness and faithfulness to her church
and family. She never spoke an unkind word about anyone even though they may
have done her wrong. She exemplified the life of Christ in her daily walk.
She served her whole life at Enon Baptist Church. She served as Sunday
School teacher, clerk and choir leader for many years. She was the oldest
member by age and record of membership. She was a stay at home mother that
spent her life working hard to give her family the best life of love they
will ever know. She will be missed more than words can express. Funeral
services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at the
