Thomas Hayes McCoy
(May 16, 1938 - February 6, 2018)


THOMAS HAYES McCOY, 79, of Barboursville, W.Va., went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at his residence. He was born May 16, 1938, in Wayne County, W.Va., a son of the late Leonard and Mary Stafford McCoy. He was retired from the City of Kenova and had served with the US Army Reserves. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Teresa Crawford, and one sister, Sattie Mossman. He is survived by his wife, Iris; four daughters, Lisa McCollum (Michael) of Houston, Texas, Pam Kirk (Stan) of Barboursville, Valerie Nibert of Barboursville and Kathy Anselmi (Mike) of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two brothers, Gene McCoy (Marilyn) and Don McCoy (Mary), both of Kenova; 11 grandchildren, Kris and Kory Crawford, Blane Anselmi (Cassie), Victoria Hatton (Matt), Tyler and Whitley Fouch, Annalise Nibert, Mason and Madison McCollum, Jeri and Delaney Kirk; four great-grandchildren, Willow Nibert, Brynlee Hatton, Harvey and Alden Anselmi; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 10, 2018, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville. Visitation was one hour prior to service.
