Elizabeth Rachel Bills Yates
(June 8, 1930 - February 9, 2018)



Elizabeth Rachel Bills Yates, 87 of Kenova, WV, passed away Friday, February 9, 2018 at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 12, 2018 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Rev. Ray Williamson and Rev. Johnny Harris. Burial will be in Green Valley Cemetery. She was born June 8, 1930 in Cabell County, a daughter of the late George E. And Lillian Marie Bush Bills. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Yates; daughter, Loretta Carter; son, Charles Yates; sisters, Myrtle Hager, Louise McDaniels and Helen Sowards; brothers, George and Herschell Bills. She is survived by five daughters, Phyllis Carter of Ceredo, Lillian Remak of Cheyenne, WY, Patricia Rose and Barbara Yates of Kenova, WV, and Tammy Hale of Ceredo, WV; six sons, Danny Bills and Glenn Yates, of Huntington, WV, Herschel Yates of Kenova, William Yates of Ceredo, Tony and Gregory Yates of Kenova; sister, Elsie Hubbard, Barboursville, WV; forty three grandchildren; and a host of great and great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Monday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
