Helen Louise Smith
(August 7, 1931 - February 7, 1931)

HELEN LOUISE SMITH, 86, of Barboursville, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 26, 2018. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, March 2, 2018, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, with Roger Mooney officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. She was born August 7, 1931, in Huntington, W.Va., a daughter of the late Frank and Julia Hancock Burks. She was a former member of Hash Ridge Baptist Church and was now a member of Kellogg Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Earl "Buddy" Burks, and her second husband, William "Smitty" Smith Jr. She is survived by one stepdaughter, Rita Smith; three stepsons, Smokey Smith, Billy Smith and Sean Smith; one grandson, Joseph Dominguez; one great-granddaughter, Sophie Dominguez; five nieces, Julia Barr, Alice Mooney, Linda Mott, Christine Webb and Jean Vance; and two nephews, David Webb and Wandel Webb. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
