John Andrew McCallister
(October 29, 1953 - February 2, 2018)



John Andrew McCallister, 64, of Huntington, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 2, 2018. He was born on October 29, 1953 in Cabell County, a son of the late Orville and Harriet Markins. He is survived by his wife Linda Williamson Adkins McCallister; two daughters, Kelsey Nicole McCallister of New York and Bethany Rose McCallister of Huntington; one step-daughter, Tammy Gue (Donny) of Salt Rock; two step-son, Steven Scott Williamson of Huntington and Rodney Ray Adkins (Cammy) of Fairmont; four step-grandchildren; one sister, Nancy Carol McCallister Denny (Allen); one niece, Sarah Elizabeth Allen (Orland) of Rainelle; two nephews, Chris Allen Denny (Jenny) of Rainelle and Timothy William Denny of Huntington; and five great-nieces and nephews. He served in the United States Navy and the United States Army Reserves. He was a member of the Minerva Lodge #13 A.F. & A.M., Barboursville. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville with Pastor James Jobe officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Friends may visit from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, February 9, 2018 at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
