John Andrew McCallister, 64, of Huntington, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 2, 2018. He was born on October 29, 1953 in Cabell County, a son of the late Orville and Harriet Markins. He is survived by his wife Linda Williamson Adkins McCallister; two daughters, Kelsey Nicole McCallister of New York and Bethany Rose McCallister of Huntington; one step-daughter, Tammy Gue (Donny) of Salt Rock; two step-son, Steven Scott Williamson of Huntington and Rodney Ray Adkins (Cammy) of Fairmont; four step-grandchildren; one sister, Nancy Carol McCallister Denny (Allen); one niece, Sarah Elizabeth Allen (Orland) of Rainelle; two nephews, Chris Allen Denny (Jenny) of Rainelle and Timothy William Denny of Huntington; and five great-nieces and nephews. He served in the United States Navy and the United States Army Reserves. He was a member of the Minerva Lodge #13 A.F. & A.M., Barboursville. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville with Pastor James Jobe officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Friends may visit from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, February 9, 2018 at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. |
