Anna Jean Havens
(October 20, 1934 - February 13, 2012)



Anna Jean Havens, 77, of Huntington, WV, passed away Monday, February 13, 2012, in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington. She was born October 20, 1934 in Milton, WV a daughter of the late Oscar and Rosa Elliot Carpenter. Her husband, Edison E. “Eddy” Havens; three sisters, Bessie Triplett, Mildred Carpenter, and Helen Cremeans; and a brother, Bill Carpenter, also preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and was a member of Fourth Avenue United Methodist Church. Survivors include: two daughters, Kathy Perry and her husband, Vince and Pam McComas, all of Proctorville, OH; a son, Eddy Havens, Jr. and his wife, Becky of Lesage, WV; four grandsons, Eddy Havens III (Wendy), Joshua McComas (Amanda), Jacob McComas, and Tyler Perry (Natalie); and a great grandson, Jackson McComas. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 15, 2012, at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Huntington, with Dr. David B. Lemming officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, our family requests that donations be made to the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington or that you dedicate a portion of your time to support and encourage a caregiver of a sick or elderly loved one. Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington, is assisting the family.
