Audray Catherine Bradshaw Sullivan
(May 29, 1926 - February 12, 2012)



Audray Catherine Bradshaw Sullivan, 85, died Sunday February 12, 2012 at the Emogene Dolin Hospice House in Huntington, WV. She was born May 29, 1926 the daughter of Thomas and Ora Bradshaw. She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 sisters, and her husband of 60 years Henry E. “Hank” Sullivan. She is survived by two sons and daughters in law, Mick and Kathy Sullivan of Fork Union, VA, and Barry and Jan Sullivan of Huntington, WV. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Kate Melton, Emily Morris, Laura Sullivan, Ginger Sullivan, and Jamie Sullivan, as well as 5 great grandchildren, Addison and Andrew Melton and Neely, Kellen, and Brody Morris. Mom was a proud graduate of the St Mary’s School of Nursing, Cadet Nurse Corp, class of 1947 and worked in various nursing and management positions within the health care industry throughout her career. In keeping with that tradition, at her direction, her body has been donated to the Marshall School of Medicine. She was an active member of Cross Roads United Methodist Church for over 50 years. Our family would like to thank special friends who touched her heart and life: Nancy James, Francis Keenan, Kay Sowards, and Sandy Lynn. We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to the doctors, nurses and staff at St Mary’s Hospital and Hospice of Huntington for the care you provided. A celebration of her life will be held at Cross Roads United Methodist Church on Thursday February 16, at 3:00. In lieu of flowers our family requests a donation be made to one of the following: Cross Roads United Methodist Church, American Cancer Society, or Hospice of Huntington, WV.
