Mary Ellen LeGrand

Mrs. Mary Ellen LeGrand, 76, of Huntington, widow of Asa LeGrand, passed away Thursday, Feburary 2. 2012 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Monday, February 6, 2012 at Chapman’s Mortuary, with Pastor John Duffy and Pastor B. C. Egnor officiating. Burial will be in Ridgelawn Memorial Park. She was born October 29, 1935, at Ashland, KY, a daughter of the late Claude and Marie McClelland Blevins. She was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church. She is survived by a 2 sons and a daughter-in-law; Rodney and Lisa LeGrand of Scott Depot, WV, and Steven Allen LeGrand of Huntington; 2 grandchildren, Eric Mercer of Huntington, and Jesssyca Gouch of Scott Depot; a great grandchild, Brianna Mercer, of Petersburg, WV; a sister Caroline Sharp, of Aurburndale, FL; and 2 brothers, Richard Blevins of Los Angeles, CA, and Jerry Robert Blevins, of Columbus, OH. Visitation will be from 6 pm until 8 pm Sunday, February 5, 2012 at Chapman’s Mortuary.
