Richard McKinley Caldwell, 78, of Huntington, WV, passed away, Thursday, May 22, 2014, in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington. He was born January 14, 1936 in Cabell County, WV a son of the late George Russell and Irene Virginia Hughes Caldwell. A brother, Jim Caldwell, also preceded him in death. He was a retired barber; a U.S. Air Force Veteran; and a member of Bloomingdale Salem Baptist Church. Survivors include: his wife, Barbara Ann Adkins Caldwell; a sister and brother-in-law, Cherie and Donald Morrison of Barboursville, WV; two brothers, Donnie Caldwell and Lowell Caldwell, both of Huntington; a sister-in-law, Donna Caldwell of Lesage, WV; a brother-in-law Roger Adkins and his wife Katie of Lavalette, WV; and four nieces and four nephews. The family would like to thank his friends, Par Lee, Evelyn and Pam. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 2PM, at Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington, with Pastor Jeff Sizemore officiating. Veterans Honor Guard Post 16 will conduct military graveside rites.
