Mary Evelyn Taylor Wolfe, 92, of Huntington, WV, died Tuesday May 20, 2014 at Huntington Health & Rehabilitation Center. Funeral service will be conducted 12:00 PM Friday May 23, 2014 at the White Chapel Mausoleum, White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Evelyn was born June 6, 1921 in Knoxville, TN, the daughter of the late John Calvin Taylor & Regena Neubert Scraggs. She was a member of the Fourth Ave. United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick R. Wolfe, one daughter, Carolyn S. Irwin & one son, John C, Wolfe. Survivors include one son Daniel R. Wolfe & wife Donna of Huntington, son-in-law, Jim Irwin of Huntington, five grandchildren, Karen Irwin, Lauren Wood, Stephanie Smith, Melody Belcher & Stephen Wolfe, seven great grandchildren, Makylah Wolfe, Jacob & Andy Ryder, Tyler Webb, Audrey Smith, Owen Daniel Belcher & McKenzie Danee Belcher. The family would like to thank the staff of Huntington Health & Rehabilitation for all their loving care & assistance. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Friends may call at the cemetery after 11:00 AM on Friday. Chapman’s Mortuary Huntington is assisting the family.
