Donna Sue Bowen, 72, of Huntington, WV, passed away, Friday January 15, 2016 in Huntington Health and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral service will be conducted 7:00 PM Monday January 18, 2016 at Chapman's Mortuary Huntington, with Rev. Mark Connor and Rev. Stephen Hensley officiating. Burial and committal service will be at 1:00 PM Tuesday January 19, 2016 at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Huntington. Donna was born May 31, 1943 in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late Nolice W. Bowen, Sr and Marie Adkins Bowen. Donna was a 1961graduate of Huntington High, The Pony Express, retired from the former Huntington State Hospital in the admitting office. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Edward Bowen and Nolice W. Bowen, Jr., and a nephew Tim Bowen. Survivors include two brothers, Larry J. Bowen of Huntington and Charles G. Bowen of Proctorville, OH, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. The family thanks the staff at Huntington Health and Rehab. for their wonderful care and concern for Donna. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Little Victories Animal Rescue, 3589 Wire Branch Rd., Ona, WV 25545. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Monday January 18, 2016 at Chapman's Mortuary.
