Carol Sue Finley, 72, of Huntington, WV, widow of Walter "Buddy" Finley, Jr., went home to be with the Lord, Saturday January 2, 2016 at her residence. Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 AM Wednesday January 6, 2016 at Trinity Church of God with Pastor Ken Toler. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Carol was born August 19, 1943 in Wayne, WV, a daughter of the late Leo and Lou Elsie Baker Simpkins. She was a member of the Trinity Church of God. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Gaynelle Andes. Survivors include three sisters, Betty Kitts of Ceredo, WV, Ida Gomer of Willowick, OH and Evelyn Thompson of Bolingbrook, IL, five brothers, Gene Simpkins of Shoals, WV, Leo, Jr., Freddy, Teddy and Bryan Simpkins all of Huntington, special niece and nephews, Mark, Cody and Brandon Simpkins and Tiffany Hughes. Friends may visit with the family after 10:00 AM on Wednesday at the church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Saint Jude Children's Hospital (501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN., 38105). Chapman's Mortuary Huntington is assisting the family.
