Obituary



Michael Lee Burch, 64, of Proctorville, OH, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2016, at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Tuesday, October 18, 2016, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Dr. Ellis Conley officiating. Burial will be in Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington. Mike was born August 17, 1952 in Huntington a son of the late Junior Elden and Inez Eloise Finley Burch. He was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of Jennifer, Anita Chapman Estep. He was a 1970 graduate of South Point High School and was retired from Special Metals. He was a Harley-Davidson enthusiast and also loved riding his horses. Survivors include: a daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Dr. J.B. Marinacci of Hurricane, WV; three beloved grandchildren, Alyssa Marion, Andrew Davis, and Addley Marie Marinacci, all of Hurricane; a sister, Sheila Burch Hagley of Westwood, KY; a brother-in-law, Larry and Debbie Hagley of South Point, OH; two nieces, Lora (Keith) Stewart of Catlettsburg, KY and Stacey (Gary) Cook of Westwood, KY; two great nephews, Devyn and Kris Longo; two great nieces, Samantha and Savannah Hudson; an aunt, Imogene Dailey of Milton, an uncle, Denzil (Helen) Burch of Fairfield, Ohio, formerly of Huntington; his former wife, Judy Beckett of Huntington; several close cousins; a host of friends including special friends that were like brothers, Jim Reed, Ed Porter and Larry Black; and his beloved horses and dogs. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Animal Shelter of your choice. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Monday, October 17, 2016, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington.
