Robert Lynn McCallister, 72, of Proctorville, OH, died Thursday October 27, 2016 in Cabell Huntington Hospital. Robert was born May 31, 1944 in Huntington, WV a son of the late Willard Wayne and Hazel Alma Eagleston McCallister. He was a US Air Force veteran and also served in the Army Reserves. Robert was a Supervisor for Habitat for Humanity and also worked in construction and remodeling. He was a graduate of Huntington East High School in 1962. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Helen Price, two brothers, Wilbur W. and James E. McCallister. Survivors include his son, Richard McCallister and grandson, Nicholas McCallister both of Huntington and a sister, Mary Ann Layne and husband Robert of Parkersburg, WV. There will be a memorial service at a later date. Chapman's Mortuary Huntington is assisting the family.
