ANNA KATHLEEN BARNES
(May 18, 1919 - December 11, 2014)



ANNA KATHLEEN BARNES, 95, of Huntington, widow of Samuel W. Barnes, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2014. She was born May 18, 1919 in Lincoln County, a daughter of the late Scott and Martha Richardson. She is also preceded in death by one son Randy C. Barnes; two brothers, Arthur Richardson and Basil Richardson; two sisters, Mildred Soucy and Maxine Yeager. She is survived by one son Samuel Scott Barnes; one grandson, Samuel Scott Barnes II; one granddaughter, Vera Ann Barnes; one great-granddaughter, Mikayla Jo Boone and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of Barboursville Church of Christ. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, December 15, 2014 at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville with Minister David Gladwell officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery. Friends may visit from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Barboursville Church of Christ 1120 McClung Ave.; Barboursville, WV 25504.
