DEBORAH KAY GIBSON RAY
(October 20, 1948 - December 20, 2014)



DEBORAH KAY GIBSON RAY, 66, of Barboursville, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 20, 2014. She was born October 20, 1948, in Cabell County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Hollice "Wormie" Gibson and Lucille Hatfield Gibson. She was a retired receptionist at Dutch Miller Chevrolet and was a member of Steele Memorial United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by a sister Melanie Sue Dorton and one niece, Amanda Dorton. She is survived by two nephews, James Dorton of Biloxi, Mississippi, and Samuel Dorton of Barboursville; and a special cousin Maxine Hodges of Hurricane, W.Va. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, December 28, 2014, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, with Rev. Dr. John Sauvage and Rev. Ralph Sager officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Debbie loved the town of Barboursville and its residents. She will be remembered for her hugs she gave to everyone.
