Leslie G. Doss
July 21, 1930 -- March 30, 2009


Leslie G. Doss, 78, of Huntington, WV, passed away Monday, March 30, 2009, in St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted 12:30 PM Thursday, April 2, 2009, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Roger Perry officiating. Burial will be in Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington, with Military Graveside rites by Post 16 Veterans Honor Guard. Leslie was born July 21, 1930 in Huntington, WV a son of the late Joe and Pauline Gillispie Doss. He was an accountant with Armco Steel, Ashland, KY, for over 42 years and was an Honorary Kentucky Colonel. Survivors include: a sister and brother-in-law, Marjorie and Clarence Bailey of Huntington; a niece, Kathryn Bailey and friend, Susie Damron of Huntington; two nephews, Robert Bailey and friend, Todd Chapman of Huntington and Kevin Bailey and his wife, Allison of Atlanta, GA; three great nieces, Kira Bailey and her husband, Aaron Miller of Ames, IA, Kama Reynolds and her husband, Andy of Huntington and Olivia Bailey of Huntington; a great nephew, Chandler Doss Bailey of Atlanta, GA; a great great niece, Keelie Reynolds of Huntington; four special cousins, Oval, Dolly, and Wayne Doss and James Crawford; a close friend, Betty Lyons of Kenova, WV; and his cat, Titty-Tat. Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, April 1, 2009, at Chapman's Mortuary.
