Louise O. Mannon

Mrs. Louise Reynolds Wells Mannon 77, of Huntington, WV passed away Saturday, March 21, 2009, to go home to be with the Lord. She was a member of the former 25th Street Pentecostal Church, currently New Beginning Apostolic Church for 52 years. She was a Sunday School Teacher for 24 years and Ladies Auxiliary President for 10 years. She was a coordinator for church affiliated banquets, dinners, pastor appreciation services, fundraisers, and acted as the church wedding planner for numerous years. She is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 46 years, Bennie Odell Mannon, her eldest daughter Mrs. Lois Chapman of Morgantown, WV, daughter Ahlena Meadows, son Herbert (Pudge) Wells, daughter Katrina Anderson, and daughter-in-law Madge Wells all of Huntington, WV and son-in-law Mike Chapman of Morgantown, WV. Her brothers Bill Reynolds of Huntington and James Reynolds of Athens, AL also survive her. She was preceded in death by a sister, Freda Hay of Huntington and a brother, Ed Reynolds of Toledo, OH, a great grandson Jayden Cooper of Huntington, and a son-in-law, Leon Meadows of Huntington. She has 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and a host of close friends. Visitation will be held at the New Beginning Apostolic Church from 6:00 to 9:00 PM Friday, March 27, 2009, and the funeral services at 1:00 PM the following day, officiated by Bishop Norman Mills, son-in-law, Rev. Michael Chapman, brother, Rev. James Reynolds, and Pastor T.D. Mills. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, WV. She was a shining example of godliness. Her legacy of humility, kindness, generosity, and love of family will echo throughout the pages of time and resonate in the lives of the people whom she has touched during her life here on Earth.
