Obituary


Olive Beatrice Bostic LeGrand, 88, of Goodview, VA, formerly of Barboursville, passed away Friday, August 7, 2015, in Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Roanoke, VA. She was born January 6, 1927, in Cabell County, WV, a daughter of the late Arnold Jackson and Pearl Bryant Adkins Bostic. In addition to her parents she had two sisters, Bernice Bostic Blevins and Phyllis Kendrick and two brothers, Orvil Bostic and Edsel Arnold Bostic precede her in death. She was a former hairdresser having owned the former Olivia's Beauty Salon, and attended Fellowship Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Linda Carol Bowen of Laguna Hills, CA.; three grandchildren, Gary Lee Pritt and wife Angie of Goodview, VA, David Michael Pritt and wife, Tracey of Ashland, KY., and Kimberly Dawn Bowen of Laguna Hills, CA; eight great grandchildren; a sister, Celeste McDaniel of Jefferson, TX; and a sister-in-law, Joyce Bostic of Huntington. Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 am Monday, August 10, 2015 at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, with burial to follow.
