Helen Louise Minor 67, of Huntington, widow of Charles Amos Minor, passed away Monday, August 17, 2015 in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Thursday, August 20, 2015 at Chapman's Mortuary. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens Barboursville. Born November 13, 1947 in Huntington, she was the daughter of the late John Benjamin and Vesta Irene Kirk Hensley. Four brothers, Buck Hensley, Pete Hensley, Bernard Hensley and Roger Hensley also preceded her in death. She was a dispatcher with C I Whitten Transfer, and attended Freedom Baptist Church in South Point, Ohio. Her memory lives on through her only child, Jessie Cissell and son-in-law James Cissell, Jr., of Louisville, KY; three grandchildren, Carrie Cissell, Cody Cissell, fiancé Samantha, Christopher Cissell and his wife Jada; one great granddaughter, Jamie Marie; loving sisters, Norma Brunty, Sandy Carter, Brenda Kay Adams, Myrtle Gothard and her husband Kermit, and Roberta Clark; loving brothers, William Hensley, wife Linda, Gary Hensley, wife Leona, Jerry Hensley, wife Karen and Michael Hensley, wife Brenda; and numerous nieces nephews and other family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
