Obituary



Armanas Perry 80, of Huntington, passed away Wednesday August 12, 2015, at home. He retired from INCO as a millwright. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Friday, August 14, 2015, at Chapman's Mortuary, with Pastor Berkley Saunders officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. He was born September 18, 1934, in Kenova, WV, a son of the late Green Way and Mary Smith Perry Trent. In addition to his parents, his first wife, Barbara Ellen Jeffers Perry, three brothers Paul Freeman Perry, Billy Henry Perry and Carlos Vaughn Perry, and his step father, Howard Trent, also preceded him in death. He was a member of the Rome Missionary Baptist Church, the Masonic Lodge #11, and a HEHS graduate. Survivors include his wife, Fleta Jane Turner Perry of Huntington; one daughter and son-in-law, Sheila Kay and William Daniel Cullum of Proctorville, OH; one son and daughter-in-law, Jerry Allan and Della Diane Perry of Huntington; one brother, Thurman W. Perry of Proctorville; and one sister, Annis Lee Williams of Kenova, WV; grandchildren, Shawnette Renee and Scott Blatt of Huntington, and Kevin Daniel and Ashley Cullum of Prichard, WV; great-grandchildren, Casey Cullum, MaKayla Cullum, Emily Ellen Blatt, and Lindsey Blatt; step-children and step grand-children, W. Arlan and Tina Elkins, Natalie and Tyler Perry, and Emily Elkins all of Proctorville, OH; Friends may visit with the family from noon to service time Friday at the funeral home.
