Obituary



Judith Holl Ridings of Barboursville, WV, on the morning of August 21, 2015 passed away peacefully at the age of 81. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Forest Lee Ridings and infant daughter Ann. Judith was the beloved mother of Susan Ridings Adkins (Spencer) of Barboursville and Amy Ridings Sciannella (Patrick) of Farmington Hills, MI. Along with her daughters she is survived by her brother Dr. Walden M. Holl of Haddonfield, NJ and his wife Janice, whom Judith thought of as a sister. She also leaves behind the joys of her life, her four grandsons, Stuart, Nathan, Nicholas, and Graham Adkins. Judith was blessed with great happiness over the past four years in the love she shared with her companion Merle Bush of Barboursville. A service of celebration of Judith's life will be held at 2:00 Sunday, August 23, in the chapel at First Presbyterian Church, Huntington. Dr. John Minihan officiating. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Cabwaylingo Chapel in Dunlow, WV, care of First Presbyterian Church, Huntington.
