Marilyn Joyce Morris Chapman Leach, 73, of Huntington, WV, died Wednesday August 19, 2015, in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral service will be conducted 3:00 PM Saturday August 22, 2015 at Chapman's Mortuary Huntington with Pastor Jerry Chapman officiating. Burial will be in Bowen Cemetery. Marilyn was born September 16, 1941 in Windom, MN, a daughter of the late Roy and Marie Cross Safley. She was a member of the Open Door Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Darrell Morris, two brothers, James and Robert Safley, one sister, Marjorie Meeks and a sister-in-law, Joyce Safley. Survivors include two daughters, Michele Saxton of Huntington and Pam Davis of Chesapeake, OH, two sons, Curtis Leach of Huntington Beach, CA and Michael Morris and wife Kim of Huntington, 6 sisters, Delores and Doris Lowe of Ca, Janice Lehl of Neb., Shirley Irwin of Iowa, Beverly Edwards of Ca and Sharon MacKenzie of WA., a brother-in-law Jack Meeks of OK, honorary family members, Jody and Randy Adkins of Huntington, 7 grandchildren, Dustin Ruge, Britanae and Dillon Saxton, Dean Smith, Kaitlyn Chapman, Camron Leach and Tanner Morris, three great grandchildren, Lexi and Brayden Ruge and Zailynn Patrick. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 until 3:00 PM Saturday at Chapman's Mortuary.
