Billie “Bob” Blair, 88, passed away from his beloved “Kellogg” in Huntington on Tuesday April 26, 2016 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 AM Saturday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Rev. Jamie Gump. Burial will follow in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens, Ashland, KY. He was born July 1, 1927 in Huntington, WV, son of the late Maude Connor. Bob was a member of American Legion Post 93 of Kenova, Marcum Chapter #61 OES, Crescent Lodge #32 Masons, Beni Kedem Shriners, Scottish Rite Freemasons 32nd degree, US Navy Veteran of WWII, dedicated volunteer for several community organizations in his Westmoreland neighborhood and retired from Chandler’s Plywood Products with 50 plus years of service. In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Patsy and two brothers Ed and Jim Kendrick. Survivors include two daughters and sons in law, Lola (Rich) Casey and Patricia (Ron) Dials; three sons and a daughter in law Ben Blair, Jeff Blair and Tim (Denise) Blair; seven grandchildren, Kevin (Cara) Dials, Kaila (Eric) Maynard, Kody Blair, Kelly (Jessi) Dials, Rachel Blair, Kent (Jessie) Blair and Jesse Blair; one step grandson, Rick Casey. Four great grandchildren Connor and Keegan Dials, Easton Maynard and Charlotte Blair, one step great grandson Ricky Casey. Three surviving cousins Fred and Homer Blair, Jr., Treva Stapleton, along with several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm Friday at the Reger Funeral Home.
