Dorothy L. Fillinger, 89 of Huntington, WV passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at the Boyd Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Ashland, Ky. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Joey Kennedy. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery, Huntington. She was born May 20, 1926 in Huntington, WV a daughter of the late John Henry Clayton and Gladys Basenback Fillinger. She was a retired vice-president of Guaranty National Bank (now Huntington Bancshares). She was also a charter member of Westmoreland Church of Christ, where she was a member of the Loyal Daughters and was very active all of her life. Dorothy was also an avid bowler , talented artist and enjoyed golf. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters: Virginia Fillinger, Annabelle Burnley , Vetress Sarver and an infant brother. Survivors include, nephews and nieces, Michael Burnley, John Burnley (Becky) ,Janet Greear (Dewey) and Sharren Morgan; great nieces and nephews, Jessica Elliott, Ryan Burnley ( Elizabeth), James Burnley (Rachel) and Timothy Greear; two great great nephews Henry and Noah Burnley, and great great niece, Brenna Kokichi – Burnley.
