Ruby Mae Marcum, 72, of Huntington, WV passed away on Saturday, April 16. 2016 at her residence.  Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at 2:00pm at the Sunshine Freewill Baptist Church by Pastor Jody Fortner. Burial will follow at Woodmere Memorial Park.  Ruby was born on March 21, 1944 in Logan County, WV the daughter of the late Roy and Vada Manns Browning. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her two sisters: Geneva “Peanuts” Meeks and Belvia Meeks and two nephews: Jeff Meeks and Steve Vance.  Ruby is survived by her husband of 56 years Leonard Marcum, three daughters and sons in law: Katherine (Terry) Spaulding, Jenny (Jeff) Hollenshead and Barbara Marcum. Eight grandchildren: Katie (Adam), Matthew, Jamie (Stephanie), Emily (Chris), Makayla, Elizabeth, Adam and Ben. Three great grandchildren: Gracie, Claire and Mia.  Two nieces and one nephew and her best friend: Betty Burchell.  Friends may call from noon until service time on Tuesday at the church.  Reger Funeral Home is assisting the family.  Contributions may be made to the benevolent fund at Sunshine Freewill Baptist Church.
