ROBIN GILKERSON STROUD
(March 8, 1963 - August 25, 2014)

ROBIN GILKERSON STROUD, 51, of Huntington, formerly of Salt Rock, W.Va., went home to Heaven to be with the Lord and her mother on Monday August 25, 2014. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 28, 2014 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel with the Rev. Jason Black officiating. Burial will be in Gill Cemetery, Salt Rock. She was born March 8, 1963 in Columbus, Georgia, a daughter of Rev. James B. Gilkerson of Huntington, and the late Myrtle Gill Gilkerson. She was a member of Good Shepard Freewill Baptist Church in Huntington. She leaves behind her husband, Clarence "Big C" Stroud; a precious son, Jeffery Dale "JD" Dalton; sister and brother-in-law, Mollie B. Shadd (Joey) of Huntington; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Landon and Barbara Stroud of Ft. Gay, W.Va.; a very special niece, Cecelia Grace Stroud of Huntington; and a host of family and friends. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
