Wandell Leroy "Pee Wee" White

Wandell Leroy Pee Wee White, 87, of Salt Rock, WV passed away August 7, 2014 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. He was the sole survivor of the late Arlie Lee Sr. and Icley Davis White family. Siblings that preceded him in death are Arlie Jr., Letson, Okie Carroll and Bill White, Joyce Edmonds, Joann Steward and Pam White. Pee Wee was a production supervisor for 43 years of ACF Industries. He was a former member of Salt Rock United Methodist Church and a current member of Salt Rock Community Church. Pee Wee was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in World War II, and a member of VFW Post 9738. Surviving Pee Wee is his wife of 56 years, Deloris Sis Keyser White; his daughter, Debra Nance and her husband Joe of Salt Rock; his grandson, Joseph Nance and his wife Candace of Milton and his great-grandchildren, Colton and Josie Nance of Milton. Also surviving are sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Betty White, Shirley Stiltner, Betty and Louie Hutchinson and Oliver Steward; seven nephews, Mike, Rod, Chris, Todd, Joe, Frank and David; and one niece, Kim Wilson. Honorary pallbearers will be Louie Hutchinson, Bobby Gill, and Randy Nelson. Thanks to Dr. C. Dwayne Tackett, Judy Blake, Lora Coffman, Opal Jones, Delores Nelson and the staff at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville by Pastor Jason Salmons. Burial will be in Gill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, 3100 Staunton Road, Huntington, WV 25702.
