Obituary

Betty Jean Davis
(December 10, 1937 - January 12, 2017)

Betty Jean Davis, 79, of Lakeland, FL, formerly of Huntington, WV, passed away January 12, 2017. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at River Cities Lighthouse Church, Huntington, by her nephew, Pastor Donnie McCloud. Burial will be in Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington. She was born December 10, 1937 in Huntington, a daughter of the late Sebert and Erma Vance Adkins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Franklin Davis, two sisters, and three brothers. She is survived by her children and spouses, Bernice and Jim Adkins, Bill and Cathy Davis, Vicky Wiley, and Ethel Franklin; sisters, Mary, Lois , Brenda, and Joy; brothers, Ricky, and Randy; seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Tuesday at the River Cities Lighthouse Church, 1033 8th Ave, Huntington. Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville, is in charge of arrangements.
