Obituary

MARY EPLIN PERRY
(November 13, 1928 - January 21, 2017)

 

MARY EPLIN PERRY, 88, of Proctorville, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 21, 2017. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2017, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel with the Rev. Allen Frye officiating. Burial will be in Bowen Cemetery. She was born November 13, 1928, in Cabell County, a daughter of the late Marion Eplin and Beatrice Adkins Eplin Brinegar. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Rev. John Perry, two daughters, Loretta Faye Perry and Letitia Gay Perry, one brother, Haskell Eplin, three sisters, Irene Eplin, Estelle Watts and Darlene Adkins, and one half brother, Ezra Brinegar. She was a member of Bethlehem United Baptist Church. She is survived by four daughters, Jeraldine (Delbert) Harless of Barboursville, Teresa Ann (Sam) Easley of St. Peters, Missouri, Linda Sue Harris of Proctorville and Sheila Gail (Dale) May of Lavalette, W.Va.; one son, Earnest (Anita) Perry of Huntington; a half sister Frances Tomblin, two half brothers, Darrell Brinegar and Everett Brinegar; two step-sisters, Alberta Perry and Ilene Perry; 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, two great- great-grandchildren, and a special cousin and friend, Lillian Estep. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
