LINDA KAY MORRIS SIMPKINS
(April 3, 1952 _January 7, 2017)



LINDA KAY MORRIS SIMPKINS, 64, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away January 7, 2017, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. She was born April 3, 1952, in Huntington, W.Va., a daughter of the late Bill Morris and Kathleen Carter Mays. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Penny Oldaker; one grandson, Gavin Michael Simpkins, and one nephew, James Michael Burns. She is survived by her husband Marvin Simpkins; two daughters and son-in-law, Amy and Pat McCoy of Huntington, and Sarah Simpkins of Huntington; one son, Marvin E. Simpkins of Kenova; five sisters and brothers-in-law, Connie Simpkins, Kathy Hall, Robin Jackson, Becky and William Burns and Tammy and Billy Porter; six grandchildren, Brandon McCoy, Alex Simpkins, Cole and Shelby LaFon, Savanna McCoy and Clayton Newton; host of nieces and nephews; and special friend, Janet Garten. The family would like to thank Hospice of Huntington for all their care and support. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 11, 2017, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Ray Vance. Burial will be in Bias Chapel Cemetery.
