Obituary

Roger Ray Adkins
(September 20, 1943 - October 24, 2017)

Roger Ray Adkins, 74, of Salt Rock, WV, passed away October 24, 2017. He was born September 20, 1943, in Huntington, WV, a son of the late Granville Dewey Adkins and Edith Leola Nicely Adkins. He was also preceded in death by two brothers. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served during Vietnam. He is survived by one daughter, Tammy (Donald) Gue; one son, Rodney Ray (Cammie) Adkins, one step-son, Steven Scott Williamson; two sisters, Connie Denise (Leland) Adkins, and Lawana Bias; and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 28, 2017, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor David Cardwell. Burial will be in Baylous Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
