Tony Vance
(February 18, 1924 - October 27, 2017)



REVEREND TONY VANCE, 93, of Barboursville, passed away from this earthly life to his heavenly home Friday, October 27, 2017, at St. Mary's Medical Center. Tony was born February 18, 1924, at Harts, W.Va. Tony was preceded in death by his wife, Rinda Vance; his parents, Gideon and Charlottie Toney Vance; an infant daughter, Toni Jean; siblings, John, Dewey, Oris, Kenen, Lewis, General and Mae. He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Jason Vance, and granddaughter, Carissa Vance. Tony is survived by his wife, Bonnie Beal Vance; sons, Mike (Lynda), Charles (Kelli), Sam (Jeannie), and daughter, Anita Vance, as well as stepdaughter, Amy (Bill) Deal; a special niece, Kathleen (Bobby) Fleming; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Tony started and pastored the Barboursville Church of God for 31 years. He was also a former employee of INCO and was a veteran of World War II. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, October 31, 2017, at 1 p.m. at Wallace Funeral Home and Chapel, Barboursville, by Reverend Joe Stowers. Entombment will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
