Perry Fredrick Compston
(March 31, 1943 - October 7, 2017)


PERRY FREDRICK COMPSTON, 74, of Barboursville, passed away October 7, 2017. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 10, 2017, at Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Abby of Devotion, by Pastor Jason Harris. He was born March 31, 1943, in Huntington, a son of the late Fredrick T. and Ethel May Miller Compston. He was a retired employee of Big Sandy Furniture. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Percillia Faye Compston; his precious dog, Ziggy; two daughters and sons-in-law, P. Michelle and Roger Woomer of Barboursville and Leslie and Dewey Ballengee of Huntington; grandchildren, Corey Woomer (Michelle), Ashlee Hayes (Michael), Cody Ballengee and Quinnlyn Ballengee; and one great-grandson, Lincoln Woomer. Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Abby of Devotion. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, 3100 Staunton Rd., Huntington, WV 25702. Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville, is in charge of arrangements.
