Obituary

Juanita Ruth Johnson
(November 13, 1935 - October 9, 2017)

Juanita Ruth Johnson, 81, of Barboursville, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 9, 2017. She was born November 13, 1935 in Salt Rock, WV, a daughter of the late Hansford and Mae Rose Baker McCallister. She is reunited with her husband, Robert Lee Johnson Sr.; beloved daughter, Barbara Ellis and son-in-law, David Ellis and a dear brother, Jim McCallister. She will be dearly missed by her son, Rusty (Karen) Johnson of Barboursville; siblings, Helen (Kendall) Lucas of Cincinnati, OH, Roger (Mary) McCallister of Titusville, FL, Jerry (Marlene) McCallister and Judy (Bill) Vipperman, both of Huntington; grandchildren, Carrie Ann (John) Hess, Jerrie (Nick) Wintz, Jeremiah (Ashley) Johnson, Daniel (Melynda) Mueller, Nathanael (Amanda) Johnson, and Sarah Johnson; great grandchildren, Ethan, Ellaina, Olivia, Annabelle, Noah, Aubrey, Brody, Braydon, Zayne, Bella, Colton, Abigail, Bradley, and Cameron. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon Friday, October 13, 2017 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel with Rev. David Cardwell officiating. Burial will be in Baylous Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.
