Obituary

Garrett Junior Clark, 84, of Huntington, WV, passed away Saturday, November 15, 2014, at McKendree Village in Hermitage, TN. He was born March 31, 1930 in Lesage, WV, a son of the late Garret Hobert and Thelma Emmodine Caldwell Clark and brother to the late Dale Clark of West Palm Beach, FL. He also had a daughter precede him in death, Pamela Williams. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, and retired from Conners Steel having worked as a heater operator on #2 mill. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Rick Kitts of Old Hickory, TN; two sisters, Christine Douglas (late husband, Maxwell Douglas) of West Palm Beach, FL, and Judith Clark of WV; six grandchildren, Eric Kitts of Nashville, TN, Breanne Klapper and husband, Kyle, of Nashville, TN, Kendra Casselberry and husband, Keith, of Old Hickory, TN, Michelle Hughes and husband, John, of Wadsworth, OH, and Randy Williams and Clifford Williams, both of Columbus, OH; seven great grandchildren, Kallie Casselberry, Keelan Casselberry, Brixton Klapper, Nick Wolf, Aaron Wolf, Grady Hughes, and Teagan Hughes. Garrett will be cremated in Tennessee and the family is planning a memorial graveside in the spring of 2015 at Caldwell Cemetery, Lesage, WV. Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington, is assisting the family.
