Obituary

Lillian Williams
(March 15, 1926 - November 2014)



Today we rejoice as Lillian Williams, wife, mother, grandmother, and sister went home to rejoice in the Lord’s presence and to reunite with her husband and best friend Junior. She was born March 15, 1926 in Cabell County, WV a daughter of the late Leonard and Erdine Wallace Blake. She was also preceded in death by: her husband, Lewis Williams, Jr.; two grandchildren, Tamara Williams and Ryan Clagg; and two brothers, Melvin Blake and Lawrence Blake. She attended Spurlock Creek Baptist Church. She leaves behind two daughters and a son-in-law, Valerie and Charles Mount of Glenwood and Janice White of Huntington; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Loretta Williams of Lesage, WV; three brothers and a sister-in-law, James Blake of Arizona, Gene and Wanda Blake, of Ohio, and Donald Blake of Florida; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at noon Monday, December 1, 2014, at Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington, with Rev. Jerry Ryder officiating. Burial will be in Union Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to noon Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
